Meet Shane Gruber

Shane was appointed to the Board of Directors for CLOG in 2012.
Shane began clogging in 1989 and taught at his first workshop in Michigan for the Michigan Clogging Instructors Council. He currently Directs the Shanegang Cloggers and Shanenanigans clogging groups.
His accomplishments include starting a certified clogging course at Central Michigan University in 1996, being the President of the Orchesis Dance Theater at Central Michigan University and choreographing thirteen clogging pieces for the theater.He performed at the Austria Performing Arts Festival with the Main Street Cloggers, and performed in the show Rhythm Dance at Silver Dollar City. He taught actor Mike O’Malley to clog for the movie Cedar Rapids.
He earned his Certified Clogging Instructor status in 1996 and now is a mentor and evaluator for testing for the program. Shane was inducted into the Western New York Clogging Association Hall of Fame in 2011.
Shane has taught at the National Clogging Convention for over seventeen years.
